The Explosion-Proof Heat-Resistant Air & Water-Cooling Camera is an industrial-grade surveillance solution built to operate in extreme and hazardous environments where conventional security cameras would fail. Engineered for use in oil & gas facilities, chemical plants, mining sites, foundries, and high-temperature industrial zones, this camera ensures safe, uninterrupted monitoring under the harshest conditions.

Housed in a certified explosion-proof enclosure, the camera is protected against flammable gases, dust, and vapors—making it suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas. The body is constructed from stainless steel or heavy-duty aluminum alloy, capable of withstanding both impact and environmental corrosion.

To combat intense ambient temperatures, the unit is equipped with dual-stage thermal protection, combining active air cooling and water circulation systems. This ensures the camera’s internal components remain within optimal operating temperatures even in environments exceeding +100°C, such as near furnaces, incinerators, or smelting lines.

Inside the housing, the camera is fitted with a high-resolution sensor (2MP / 4MP / 8MP depending on model), offering clear, real-time video with optional features such as Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), infrared night vision, and zoom lens options for situational awareness in large industrial spaces.

Additional features may include:

  • Remote pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) control

  • ONVIF compliance for VMS integration

  • IP66/IP68 protection for dust and water ingress

  • Built-in defogging or anti-condensation systems

Description

The FEX-HB-01F-S series high-temperature-resistant camera has a cooling structure of front-end air chamber and rear-end water chamber. It is a product specially designed for special environments. In high-temperature environments, the chamber is cooled by circulating coolingwater. The front-end compressed air forms a wind curtains, which take aways part of the heat and keep the windows clean.
This product can be used in places with high ambient temperatures and a lot of dust. The water-cooled camera housing is equipped with a water cavity. The cooling water is input from the water inlet at the rear end, and then discharged from the water outlet at the front end through the water cavity, taking away the heat.
It can withstand an ambient temperature of about 200 °c. The front end of the imager is equipped with an air cavity. Air is introduced from the air inlet at the front end. The compressed air can take away part of the heat through the inner cavity of the protective cover, then it is discharged from the exhaust port. However, the compressed air used is generally only coarse-filtered in the workshop. It is recommended that users add a fine filter before the compressed air enters the camera
